a pale, delicate green, this lovely bedroom
has a full-sized bed as well as a private
balcony on which sit a small table and chairs
perfect for quiet coffee and pastries and
a newspaper, or perhaps a private glass of
champagne. The bedside table lamps are made
from antique ginger jars, and a Botero print
given to the owners by the artist himself
hangs on the wall, with an antique wooden
chair decorating the corner.
LivingRoom

A
wonderfully large, airy space bathed in light
with a full, unobstructed view of the Eiffel
Tower, and guests dine in the dining area
evenings before the fully-lit, glowing turn-of-the-century
beauty and breakfast before it lit by the
morning sunlight. The living room area, filled
with artworks and classic Parisian furnishings,
works of art and Persian carpets, opens on
the west side to the lower terrace, the smaller
of the two terraces, with its own beautiful
view of the Eiffel Tower. The coffee table
is an antique opium bed from Indonesia, complimented
by an 18th century French butchers table of
marble, brass and metal bought at the Paris
Flea Market in pristine condition and a large
piece of antique Indonesian fabric, mounted
on a frame, originally worn by Indonesian
men for their weddings. A stereo, TV, and
DVD entertainment system in the living room
flow music to the terrace for outdoor dinners
and parties. On the east side of the living
room is the den with its own sofa bed and
closet; doors to the living room can be closed
completely, creating a completely separate
room and assuring total privacy. Step out
onto the dens balcony, which runs the
entire south side of the apartment, to watch
the Eiffel Tower.
