| The
enchanting old village of Lucignano d'Asso is set in the landscape of
rolling hills and valleys, ponds, cypress and olive trees. It
is that same familiar and glorious landscape that we see in paintings
of the great masters of the school of Siena. Here, in a 14th century hamlet that offers historical evidence of Roman and Medieval times, between revitalized lanscaped gardens, the two churches and the castle, we offer a cluster of historical residences at our guests' disposal. These are Casa Amedeo, Casa Clementina, Casa Remo, and the Sarageto farm house. Set appart from these, yet within the same hamlet are Casa Severino and Casa Maria. The homes have been recently restored under the supervision of architect Paolo Alberto Rossi, a lecturer in architectural restoration, and retain all the appeal of traditional Tuscan dwellings whilst being equipped with modern and efficient services. |
